I like the new flowery borders--it's a nice way to fill up the space in widescreens. I would say that I think if you have the option, a slightly darker color (to match the more burgundy palette that is within your header more...I am particular about matching colors like that, haha) would work even better? Also if you are angry about the title text offsetting improperly, as I believe I was in my template, you can photoshop the text of your title and sub-title onto the picture itself and then upload that as your background picture and choose the "place picture instead of title and description."

I like the new look. It's bright and cheerful. When it first opened I was confused, I thought I was on the wrong blog. Good way to keep me alert.
